HAVE YOU EVER felt as if you weren't good enough, as if you didn't belong, as if everyone would be better off without you? Well you shouldn't; whether you're told it often, or not often enough. Be aware that I care, and that you're not alone in your journey.

If only I could follow my own advice, while I meant the words I said and all the feelings that come with them were true. I couldn't find it in me to get the words to impact how I think, if only I could. Maybe I'd be happier, maybe I'd stop being the girl who doesn't stand out in a crowd, the girl whose existence is forgotten about until she's called on by the teacher during class, the girl who isn't even noticed by her parents when they're home. It's hard to not have the assurance of others, although I suppose that's okay. As long as I can light that fuse within someone else and remind them that they can make it through. If I can save others, maybe I can save myself.
