That Summer

Chuck's everyday life would involve video games, Star Wars marathons, graphic novels, and more video games. It was the summer after high school and he longed for days spent at home, his face bright with excitement as the monitor in front of him glows with adventure.

And then came Stacy Charles. To any other person, she would appear quite normal. By first glance, you would perceive her as plain and ordinary. The frizzy hair, the braces, the freckles. Everything was just so plain. But not to Chuck. They embark in a summer filled with adventures and finding and losing theirselves.

Until something cosmic happens, and their summer will never be the same.
