I look down at my hands and start crying again, "I-i'm sorry, Jayden." He pulls me onto his lap and hugs me, I put my shaking hand on his cheek, "Jayden... I'm sorry I couldn't keep him from finding out. He said next time it's gonna be me or you... he told me I can't see you anymore." I say into his neck. He pulls away from the hug and wraps his arms around my waist, "then there won't be a next time." "W-w-what do you mean?" I ask with more tears falling down my face. "Why didn't you fight them?" I asked her, not believing she just stood there doing nothing, the girl I knew was so daring that she did not need saving from these men, she would have fought them by herself. Two men involved in a discussion pass down the alley. I quickly pulled myself down into the bin but regretfully one of them seemed to have already noticed me. "Hey Little Girl! Why are you hiding yourself here?" Gauging me his eyes roamed the sooty place with disdain. I assessed him carefully took the knife that I hid in my back pocket and pointed toward him "Just back off or I am going to kill you." I held myself up with a piercing gaze addressing him.
