The Deception of Magic

There is something about the book that sits on the top shelf in a second-hand bookshelf. It draws Ciara in to read it and she finds herself somehow falling into a world called Beechwood. She doesn't believe it at first, and opts for the plausible idea that she has gone crazy. However, it soon becomes apparent that she isn't. The people of Beechwood are in trouble. Being ruling by a ruthless evil Queen, they have been left to starve and die. The Caretakers of the land have banded their magic together and created a portal between the book Ciara is reading and their world. She has to fight her own inner demons in order to save the world in which she has fallen into.
