"What do you want!" I shriek at him. I turn so he can't see my tear stained cheeks. He can't see me weak.

His beautiful voice rings through the dark forest "You, " he states. I completely forget about not showing weakness. My head snaps to him.

"The only reason you're here us to kill me. So go a head and get it over with." I snarl, pushing my self up of the ground. I stand up, looking him dead in the eye.

He looks to the side, and then he fast-walks to me. He pushes me against a tree, and his nose grazes the skin on my cheek. When he speaks, his voice is unusually low and raspy. "Don't scream."

Then he presses his sinfully soft lips to mine.

ranked #49 in hiding I was suddenly just so angry that I was living in fear of this kind of attack. Why? Because we were different. Because we weren't human, and we didn't live in the darkness, and so we were attacked from both sides, always having to look for an escape route. So I snapped, and instead of running towards the door like I knew I should have, I threw a punch that was supposed to land in his rib cage, hopefully breaking a few and causing enough internal damage that he would be down for a while. But that didn't happen, because once that punch was thrown my attacker grabbed my wrist and threw me against the wall and stabbed me with a stake that ripped right through my red skull kitty tank top and cut into the flesh that covered my heart. That was when I heard the slow chuckle and that annoying voice I knew all too well say, "Not bad, but you're still dead."
