Avery has been extremely smart since she was able to point. But her family is completely messed up. Her mother is psychotic, her father takes advantage of her wits and the rest of her family fled from the state. Now Avery is 13 years old and is already a freshman, but her mother said she is moving too fast and should go back to 7th grade but her father is not anywhere near impressed and wants her to be in college by now. Avery is going through hell and is losing her potential. What will she do!

Ashley is basically the Queen of Nerds at her stereo-type filled high school, and being abused at home doesn't really help.
