"City X: The Society Where Everything Is Just Perfect!"

Yeah, right. I see that slogan everywhere, no matter where I look. It's all a lie, an illusion.

Everyone believes that it's perfect, but they don't know the workings of the inside. I was told by someone I met years ago what really goes on inside the government building, and since have been moved to the poorest part of the "perfect" city.

With every passing day, I feel my reality slipping away, fading into darkness and despair, no hope in me ever being normal ever again.

I remember the day this all started like it was yesterday.

I was a small five-year-old boy that had the intelligence of an eleventh grader when a new student joined our class, myself having to be the one who had to take him around the school...

The doors were automated and within 2 to 5 years depending on the setting chosen the doors would automatically open. The history of the 'lucky ones' is that they knew someone who had a container and welcomed them, or they hid in the container until the family that owned it got in and sealed the door. And hope they would not be killed for trespassing. Now it is 2243. The world has drastically changed. In this world the 'Owners' and 'Potentials' rule the 'communities'. Guards police, keeping communities separated. The Powers rule over what was once called North America now simply called East Nation North (ENN). Superiors handle their community they are assigned to. Under the Powers, Superiors, Water Protectors, Guards, owners and potentials come the animal breeders next on the hierarchy. Then the last three levels don't really matter to anyone. Those are the baby breeders, slaves and throwaways. They have no say in anything.
