In my opinion, simple is not overrated.
Some people, most people, love the idea of something big happening in their lives, like meeting a famous movie star and falling madly in love, or winning the lottery, or well… use your imagination. Not me, I was happy where I was, just out of high school, hanging with friends, and taking a gap year so I wouldn’t have things to stress about my life, not until the end of the year at least.
I was happy, I was peaceful, I was content, and it was just that simple.
And then Dad tells me that I’m half angel. And that’s where the simple ends.
