After a devastating war that left no one untouched, Borealis Academy was formed to further bring the beings of The Ten Kingdoms, and Five Territories, of the world Streemso together. Mixed emotions are thrown around about the academy. Especially between the students. You either hate the concept, or think it is a great idea. Though, most of the students hate the idea, and half of them were forced to attend because of their parents. 

Quiet Half-Dwarf/Half-Human Leonardo Elri is one of these students with a fierce mother pushing him forward after the hard loss of his father during the war. Laika Vicery is another student forced along for the ride, after the war left her with nothing, by her inexperienced God Father. Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Dragons, Immortals/Angels, Demons, Mermaids, Shape-Shifters, Fairies, Wizards, Magic, and, yes, even unicorns, encompass this story. Multiple characters will interact with beings from different classes, and races; and with all sorts of personalities, and experiences. 

This is an adventurous story about how people deal with the aftermath of a war. They soon learn that even though the fighting might have stop; The bleeding hasn't. The war isn't over in anyone's minds. Or is it actually over to begin with... ?All Rights Reserved

"10 years and still haven't been adopted? that's sad. why are you still living? no one loves you. no one ever will. I bet your parents crashed their car on purpose just to get away from you." I had enough. I threw myself at her. I slammed my fists into her pretty face. then her clique joined in. I was outnumbered. Everything got blurry after the second kick. They continued and I blacked out.

The war had settled down and the fairy,mermaid and unicorn tribes had allied with Phoenix wing(they're just called that but they're still human (except the mermaids) the dragon head would never surrender! The royal spy arrived at the castle to give his report on aurora "she has been sent to a school and out of reach for her adoptive parents." "Thank you hoblins" The queen called in for the royal sorceress."Your majesty" she said bowing. "Hello Amanda I've heard from hoblins that aurora has been put out of reach from her adoptive parents. I want you to find her and ask for a job there." Said the queen. Any resemblance to real ones is purely coincidental. The story contains some violence and some explicit scenes of gore, but nothing too bloody or disgusting. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.

Now that they we and they coexist, government body (consisting of both humans as well as other species) have started formulating many plans and schemes to help the species get along with each other and live in harmony. You get admission in a special academy which is designed specifically for students from all races and species to come together and learn to be excellent citizens.
