Sweet Dreams
Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...

I create monsters, but unlike other demons you may know of, I give my monsters what they want, what they think they need to be happy. I am not cruel, and I will prove it by offering you this: whatever you desire. Understand, of course, that you have to learn somehow. I'll give you what you want, but just as you live every day to get older, there has to be some kind of cost. -- What is the cost? Depends... what do you desire? Make the deal with me and then judge if I am cruel or not... --- A collection of short stories.Complete
