Imagine if William Shakespeare was to live in this time. Imagine if he wrote poems with his unique old English style about contemporary societal intricacies and modern day trivialities. Well, I hope to make that imagination as possible as I can through poems.
Sorry if from the title you thought it was horror lol
Do hope you enjoy!

R&J (G&A) // TRAGEDY

23 parts Complete

I wrote this play for a man. Our long-distance relationship seemed like Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. The story is based on the original Shakespearean work, but I tried to make it deeper to capture and cherish all of the moments we shared together. The play is full of metaphors, so don't take everything literally. Mostly, it is about my insecurities regarding the long-distance aspect, and the play actually came before we were able to see each other in real life. He wanted to see my poems, but I gave him something more precious-the most precious gift I was ever able to give.
