***This takes place 4 years after the first movie, when Yeah Yeah is sent to Military school***

Alan McLennan's parents thought he needed to get away from the Sandlot, that he was too obsessed with it and wasn't growing up in any way. Having witnessed him fail 8th grade, they were willing to try anything prepare him for the real world. So they sent him to California Correctional Military Academy.

Sylvia Janelle's parents had watched their daughter fail the 8th grade twice and get expelled for acting up too many times. They would've done anything to have their daughter be the nice girl she was in elementary school. So, as a last resort, they sent her from Las Vegas, Nevada to Sacramento to attend California Military Correctional Academy.
