"She ran, her breath heavy, and her feet sore, but she kept going. She ran because she could, because she was finally free. Free, from the evil clutches of the orphanage. The sky above her lit with billions of diamonds, the grass was soft beneath her bare feet. This was the first time she had felt grass in between her toes.
