Lilly is a spoiled nineteen year old vampire, she is the youngest child with four older brothers and comes from a family very high up in the aristocratic world of vampires. Her life is ruled by her domineering and archaic father who would have his only daughter married off to a son of one of the most prominent vampire families, if he had his way. The only problem is that Lilly wants to be like any other young woman in this modern world, free to choose her own life and love. She finds love with Patrick, a vampire she met in a bar, he lives with his mother in what could only be described as the bottom level of society for vampires, he works to earn a meagre pittance and knows little of the vampire world.
  
  Slayers advance on her residence, stalking her movements. Trapped outside the safety of her family estate, she seeks the safety of the werewolf realm.
