My favorite thing about the night was the darkness hid everything. It had the power to make your insecurities disappear. It was easier to be invisible, easier to fit in. The absolute best part was it allowed you to forget. I could forget who I was and everything that made my life a living hell. I could be anything in the night and that was exactly what I was going to do.
