The first of many, yellow light of a distant sun burned extravagantly in the sky. They appeared every twenty-four hours or so. A blanket of far off universes, filling the sky at the fall of day.
When Natalie goes searching for her lost dog, Jack in the woods, she encounters a mysterious figure which spirals her into a hidden clan of warriors on the brink of distinction. A voice in her head keeps nudging her to scale a mountain she knows she should not climb. Placed in the middle of war, she's forced to cooperate with Elijah, a boy from school who she considers her arch nemesis.
