Everything was blurry; I couldn't move, it was like I was watching a movie. It was night time and it looked like I was on the sidewalk beside a flickering street light, the road was cracked and trash was flying around. My eyes acted as the camera, it slowly turned to the left to face a narrow dark alleyway. There was a big trash bin and trash on the ground. Two guys walked into the alleyway; they walked right through me like I wasn't even there. I couldn't see their faces clearly, but one looked oddly familiar, is that Mark? I thought that has to be him. They kept walking until they were near the back of the alleyway, the person that looked like Mark started talking, but it was muffled so I couldn't understand what he said. The other man looked at him and said something back, then the so-called Mark gave him a look and walked ahead of the other guy. The man smiled, watching Mark look around for something, suddenly everything started slowing down, the man pulled out a gun and said something to Mark. Mark turned around with confusion that turned to being terrified. The man smiled broadly and fired the gun. Mark gasped and dropped to his knees, the man laughed menacingly and walked over and kicked Mark on his back. I then heard a muffled scream, and the man looked behind him shocked and ran off.

I clutched the gun to my chest. The blood on my hands, outfit and hair knotted with it. The body stared up at her, mocking her. I finished the job. But why did I feel so empty. The assignment was to kill the target, not everyone that I did. But they always said whatever it takes to get the job done. I killed people for a living. I was good at what I did... I enjoyed what I did. Memories were filling my mind too quickly to stop them so I just let them run their course. *** His weight disappeared from me and his hand grabbed the front of my leather jacket and yanked me to my feet. One of his hands were wrapped around me throat while the other was flicking a switch blade back and forth. I stared at it, flicking in and out addicted to the trance. I looked up as his voice interrupted me. "What am I going to with you Liza?" "I don't know brother. Why don't you tell me?" "Hmm," his fingers brushed my face. He was vulnerable; I stepped on his feet and watched as he yelped in pain. I reached for the gun on the mantle behind me. I cocked the gun, the safety clicked off. "Liza?" His voice was weak and frightened. "Please." He was always a good actor. His eyes were betraying his words. They were dark with vengeance and fury. His body lunged towards me. I pulled the trigger, hearing a noise echo in my ears. I dropped the gun on the ground. My feet slowly dragged my body over to Liam's body. His fair blonde hair was turning a darkish yellow red from the blood spilling from his lifeless body. Previously named: 'I'm Back, And Now I Have A Gun'
