The Engravement (Ongoing)

Roses too wither at the end of the day child.

"You're here."
It takes a few moments for his words to register. Huh?
I furrow my brows, but before I can wipe the look on my face he catches on.
"In this realm, no one just comes here. You had a reason."
"So that gives you permis-"
"What are you looking for?" He cuts me off and rests his face off on his hand. He leans forward, seemingly stared into my soul. His look is piercing.
"What are you running from?" He asks and directs his attention to the stars that lit up in the dark and vast sky. His voice is soft, almost as if he's asking himself.
