The woods surrounds a small village, isolated from civilization. Kate finds herself longing to go inside them, but doesn't know why. If only she knew the woods grow more each day, swallowing villages and the people inside. Far away another village, that is also surrounded, Arrow feels the exact same longing that Kate does, together they have to save their families and home, or be swallowed by the ocean of trees.

On the way home, she kept asking herself over and over again, "Why couldn't I kill him?" After realizing she has fallen for him, she returns to her hunting spot.
