Frisk, while searching for a missing child, climbs Mount Ebott. He falls into the Underground, where he finds monsters living their everyday lives. He finds the missing child, a young boy named Niko, and the two get as close as brothers. But, a mysterious echo of another child appears before one of them. Could this child be another friend? Or, could they be a mysterious foe?
