We all knew that day would change our lives, it would decide who we would be. But none of us thought it would lead to this, how could we?
Everyone, when they are sixteen, is given a weapon by the government. What type of weapon you get decides how the rest of your life will go, the better the weapon the more successful you'll be. Of course, this wasn't without reason. The reason is to even out the poor, rich and middle class, but in the end, it was wrong. They were all wrong.

"God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024. Don't worry, I did do research about being trans, but if you are a trans person, and there is anything you feel like isn't right or lacking in this story, feel free to let me know!
