Voldemort x Draco
A soul that's shattered and separated into bits of materia or living things still needs a home for itself. A body, an object or a mind.
That's the absurd thing that happened when this shattered soul lost it's body. It searched for a replacement that would be strong enough to stand up to it's previous home. Something that would think the same, act the same, talk the same and like the same things.
If there does not exist a new home that lives up to these standard, the soul searches for the next best option.
This is how Draco Malfoy ended up passed out in his mothers arms after they had fled from the war.
