Mages,Mechs and Madness!!! (ON HOLD)

In a universe where humanity as colonized the stars and made contact with other intelligent beings ,An empire where Nobles and commoners struggle to resolve their differences and a society that considers magic a norm of everyday life and discriminates those who are unable to wield it, there exist a special branch within the Empire of Mankind vast military whose sole purpose is to make sure that all of the above doesn't tear the Empire from the inside out.
The Intelligence Division.

Said to be among the strongest and most elite branch within the military,many say that its members are what soldiers of the Empire should strive to become. Disciplined,courageous and fearless.Yet,one man knows that might be stretching the truth a bit.

When Alex Ryder joined,he had expected the rigorous and strict lifestyle that the military is known for. What he got was an eccentric Noble/inventor with no self-preservation,an ice-cold superior with a temper that values paperwork above all along with a sword wielding maniac that refuses to use a gun and has girlfriend issues. Not exactly the image that was advertised. What's worst,his unit is the only one in the entire division that doesn't use Mech,bipedal-like combat walkers,in order to execute their missions. This causes Alex,who can't wield magic,to be thrown into dangerous missions one after the another with almost no support except his gut and wits.

So when he hears that they'll be getting new recruits which will be piloting Mechs,he is overjoyed.
Little did he know that about the quirks of his soon-to-be comrades.
