As a greaser life is tough. A few days ago my buddy Johnny and I rescued some kids from a burning church but Johnny got the worst of it. Third-degree burns covered his body and a giant wood plank struck him in the back. The doctors are doing everything they can for him but I never thought it was enough. Today Two-Bit was going to take me to the hospital for a quick visit to Johnny before we head back home from school. Johnny's room was small and it smelled sickening. He was sleeping but he didn't look peaceful the only thing that is different between him and death was the rise and fall of his chest...
