CEO Tony Stonewell's daughter Carter is pulled into a whirlwind of Rock n Roll and romance when she meets Ross Lynch one day at a meet and greet at her local mall. For both Carter and Ross it's love at first sight. The couple is happy as can be and are living in total bliss, until Ross finds out that he and his family's band R5 are going on tour in England. Although the opportunity is presented to him many times he never utters a word of the tour to Carter. Then one night when they are at the album release party for the Austin & Ally Soundtrack Carter finds out in the most hurtful way. The next thing that happens is running. Carter runs home to Texas, and Ross and his family run after her. After a few days things between the couple seem to get better, but one night Carter looks at the celebrity news and sees a photo of Ross kissing another girl.
