They are never looked down on, and even the presence of a female Alpha is intimidating. Next in line are female Omegas and Betas. Neither one is lower than the other. Female Omegas are always given respect because of their purpose. On the other hand, female Betas are slightly less respected, but no one says anything about it. Betas are the workers and Omegas are the mothers.

Male Omegas are the next in line. While they are not females, their feminine qualities are enough to give them a little bit more respect. Although, male Betas are looked down on. They are mostly sex toys or play things, tools to use for dirty work. Sex is important in an Alpha and Omegas' life. Some male Omegas are also used as sex toys, which causes them to give birth to new children. This can be dangerous for the child, depending on the gender. Alpha males are the lowest of the classes. They are the scum of the street. Females are to look down on them, and never think highly of a male Alpha.

Usually Alphas are dominant, always taking the lead and being the powerful one of the relationship, while the Omega is to be submissive.

At least, this is what the rules say. For Soyun, these rules mean nothing.
