In a world where My Chemical Romance is still together, a girl named Carver Milled lives happily in an orphanage. She isn't sad, or depressed, or even hoping to be adopted. No. Carver wishes, more than anything, not to be adopted for at least four more months. For, where those months are up, she is free to go. She is 18 and free of all her ties in her town. Including her cat ears and tail. Yes: Carver is a human-cat hybrid. Deal with it. ••• But, lead singer for popular band My Chemical Romance has different plans. After an almost-breakup the band had the year before, he could use some good publicity. What's better than adopting a seemingly hopeless orphan? But will Gerard have more feelings than father-daughter for this new girl? Read to find out.
