[Fairytale Series, Book 4] The underwater kingdom of Narmia had been left alone for millennia. It was forgotten from history books, and never appeared in maps. Princess Arya, fourth in line to the throne, had grown up with the knowledge that Narmia could support itself, with no outside help needed. Despite her desire to explore beyond, to rise to the surface and see the legendary 'land' for herself, she remained within the walls of her kingdom, deterred from her adventures by her stern, overprotective father. However, Narmia was thrown into chaos when the demons attacked. None of the merfolk had seen such dark creatures. Their army didn't stand a chance. Afraid for the lives of her people, Arya entered the world beyond Narmia, heading towards where she thought was 'land', desperate for help. Her battered, unconscious body was found by Nam, a Dorlae boy, a day later. Although he isn't at all what Arya expected land-dwellers to be, she is relieved when he agrees to help her save Narmia. But as Nam, joined by a few others, gain their very own tails and follow Arya back to her kingdom, she wonders if they will be enough. --------------------------------------------------- Based on The Little Mermaid (ft. The Chronicles of Narnia).

The sea gave her freedom. The sea took it away. Lyriana of the Coral Court has always belonged to the ocean-fierce, wild, and untamable. But when her mother, the Sea Queen, orders her to marry a prince she doesn't love, Lyriana flees her kingdom in search of her own destiny. She dreams of freedom beyond duty and thrones, but freedom comes with a price. Caught in a storm above the reef, Lyriana is trapped in a fisherman's net and dragged aboard the Sea Serpent, a pirate ship commanded by Captain Rowan Blackthorn-a man known across kingdoms for chasing legends, not obeying laws. Fierce, clever, and haunted by secrets of his own, Rowan sees in Lyriana not a monster to fear but a mystery to claim. Imprisoned far from the water that gives her life, Lyriana must fight to survive among men who see her as treasure, a weapon, or a curse. But as she learns more about Rowan, she discovers he's searching for something deeper than gold-something the sea itself may have hidden. As their worlds collide, old myths rise again. Curses stir beneath the waves. A power older than both sea and sky begins to awaken. Torn between hatred and a strange pull toward her captor, Lyriana faces an impossible choice: Escape back to the sea and abandon everything she's begun to feel... or risk her heart-and her freedom-to uncover the truth about the tides that bind them. Because some bonds aren't made by chains. They're made by the sea.
