Andy Kalgan comes from a rough past and an abusive household. But all goes downhill when he was told his supernatural abilities were unstable he though he was surrounded by idiots. But after an incident that ended with him spending a night in the local jail, he is taken to a special school for kids like him.
There he meets four new people and a close acquaintance that he will fight with to protect their home world. He creates friendships and relationships at the supernatural academy. His sister was left with their long lost mentally sick mother when their abusive alcoholic stepmother never returns from daily work shift.

Based off a prompt on Tumblr: "I want a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities". Molly grew up as a fisherman's daughter in a village by the ocean, so naturally, it was a surprise to her and those around her when she acquired fire powers. Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) Jax was the son of a rich blacksmith, who shocked everyone by developing water powers, and strong ones at that. When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world. Will something other than friendship develop over this trip? Only time will tell. (I don't own the cover image if you know who it belongs to, tell me so I can credit them. They worry about him because his personality has changed severely over the years, like he doesn't laugh or smile, and he doesn't talk much unless he absolutely has too. Through this story, he'll learn things about himself that he's never thought about; like the fact that he's gay. He didn't really find that out until he met Seth. At first, he never really thought about him, but then as he goes on, he begins to develop feelings for him like he'd never imagine. He runs into some trouble along the way but he stays strong with the help of Seth and with the help of his friends.
