Prue, a Candor transfer, enters Dauntless in the most disappointing way possible, she's the last jumper. However, she quickly promises herself that she'll be better, that she'll push herself to the limit in order to stay in her chosen faction. With new rules and few new friends, Prue finds herself drifting towards the scary young leader, unable to figure out how to pull herself away from the man with the cold, unfeeling eyes.

When it is time for new initiates, he has to overlook their training as part of his leader training. When an Amity transfer gets a little too close to Eric, she wants to know who he really is, NOT the ruthless leader image he projects to be. Eric doesn't know how to react because no one has ever tried to get close to him before so how should he react? Will he react in a good or bad way? Does she despise the real Eric or will she help him let go of the past and love the real him? All rights/ credits go to Veronica Roth.
