Ace is the school bad boy, 17 years old and a straight A student (when he wants to be). He is always getting into fights and going to detention. When he isn't getting in trouble, he's found in the back of classrooms, not saying a word. His classmates are too scared to go close to him, as if he would lash out at any moment. His past isn't a typical 'The bad boy was abused all his life', but the complete opposite. his family adores and supports him and he's extremely protective of his two younger sisters. They all know he is Gay and wouldn't have it any other way, they also know he gets into fights so they try to find out what's wrong, but give up when they know he isn't going to say anything. What they, secretly, do know is that he has been watching a certain new boy that everyone adores.

Shawn is a the new kid at school, 16 and a half, and barely passes his classes. With his Irish accent, his purple hair and his shy demeanor that everyone fawns over. He doesn't like the attention he always gets and usually tries to hide in the bathroom or goes to class early. He, unlike Ace, has a dark past that he never wants to mention. Sometimes he gets caught up in his imagination and thinks of his past, resulting in him either passing out or having a panic attack. Most people try and bring up his past, but he just shuts down, scaring everyone.

They both think they can't love, but what happens when these two start getting closer? Will they find love or shut down? I don't even know myself so read to find out!
