A child the youngest was mother's heart. She longed so much for the youngest of her three when she planned to steal two of us from school and pick up the youngest while he played outside and did not get him because my sister wanted to walk in the school's Halloween parade. Her insistence on being in the parade through the timing off on nabbing all three of us. Hours later mom told her aunt she would trade my sister and me for my youngest brother. This poem reflects those thoughts.

every young child dreams of being a princess but that dream was ripped away from me when I was only five years old. my father abused me when my mother passed away. he whipped me and cut me, every hope of being happy was torn away from me. but when I finally escape I shift and find my mate. everything good comes to an end sooner than you thought.
