They were losing the war, everyone could feel it, but they kept fighting as though they couldn't. Hermione tried to ignore the fact that the the Death Eaters outnumbered them, at least by three to one, and that wasn't even including the giants, dementors and Merlin knows what else Lord Voldemort had on his side. However, Hermione simply couldn't ignore it anymore when her friends started dying off. Shot by the Killing Curse, or left to bleed to their death. She swallowed up her pride and went through with her last plan. The only problem was, it seemed, that her plan unintentionally involved a certain blonde haired ferret.

UNDER REVISE AND EDITING. Frenemies. Rivals. Something else entirely. Y/N is a fourth-year Slytherin with an unusual circle of friends - including Gryffindor's golden trio. She's sharp, sarcastic, and perfectly fine avoiding Draco Malfoy at all costs... except Hogwarts has other plans. When a series of unexpected duels, detentions, and school events keep throwing her into Draco's path, their long-standing rivalry begins to unravel. Tension builds. Lines blur. And what starts as annoyance turns into something far more dangerous. This is a slow-burn story about pride, fear, and the terrifying risk of being seen. Because sometimes the person you clash with most... might just be the one who understands you best.
