In the underground city of Saoirse, 10 groups are united and divided. Nobility lives a wealthy easy life, concerned with only the rank of their social class, while magicians run in the city; magicians who rule Electricity, Nature, Ice, Fire, Steel, Ground, Air, Weather, and magic all around. In the lower middle class of Electric magicians, sits Rowan Animus, a 16 year old magician with a winged raccoon named Gadaí. With her dad off as a military general and her mom marrying another man, Rowan lives in her dad's old workshop and has a normal life of fixing and inventing creations that rarely work. Until the Saoirse military starts to enroll again. Rowan is aware that only the soldiers who make contact with generals for longer than a command, are elite and Nobles, so being a magician? It just might be a problem. This won't stop her from trying at least to get to her dad and understand. Her journey won't to be easy but with the help of Gadaí and some new friends Rowan might make it.

Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family.
