Arielle Morgan has just moved into Florida, her dad is a marine and has to travel a lot, her new neighbor is Ethan Woods, star of the soccer team. Everyone thinks he's this macho guy who doesn't have a single problem, but in reality, his mom is in an abusive relationship, that not only hurts her but her daughter as well.
Paired for a school project, they're forced to spend time together. After plenty of after-school hangouts, they start to fall in love.
Arielle has to move to New Jersey, coincidentally, Ethan does a horrible, unforgivable mistake.
Ethan leaves everything behind in search for his love with no lead on where she went.

Ever since Shelby moved away from her hometown she has missed everything about it; the feel, the people, her (pretty much but not really) sister, Celeste and her boyfriend, oops, EX-boyfriend, Laine. Just before she moved away they broke up, they made up at the airport as she left but they never got over each other. Shelby has now been in her new town, Sherwood Park, for three years (Shelby is 14). She has had some bad times, and some even more good times, like meeting all her new friends. She isn't interested in dating an empty-headed person who knows nothing, doesn't really care about prom, or the empty-headed people who think she sleeps around. Aspen is a free spirit girl, who isn't afraid "to be one of the boys", isn't afraid to be herself, but is afraid to be loved or let anybody in after a difficult past. Aspen vows not to fall in love, because of still struggling to let go. This book is about highschool kids but specifically and girl who is a junior and has a boyfriend who is on the football team and has a best friend in which the girl despise. His best friend however, seems interested in her, he is always been there for her when she needs someone to caress her. He there for seems very interested in her and always make trouble of her. She really dislike him but there was this adventure trip in which these three teenagers was a part of and they were in the same group. Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before.
