Escape the claws of death.

It used to be the job of the grim reaper to directly clam a persons life, however that all changed. Instead once it's been decided that your time is up the crest of death appears on your body and it becomes the duty of every other person to kill you on sight.

It had been happening for centuries now, it had become normal. No one ever expects death to find them, to wake up one morning with the crest on their own flesh.

I certainly hadn't. I had only just turned sixteen and had thought I had my whole life ahead of me, but that all changed when death found me and gave me the crest.

Now I must escape capture, and flee my home town.

I'm too young to die and won't allow anyone to take my life from me, if death really wants me... he'll have to catch me himself.
