Survival.  That's the most important thing right?  That's what I had learned, sometimes it was something I learned the hard way.  The world I'm growing up in is much different than the way it was when I was little.  The world has fallen, all I have left anymore is myself and the few people I know are still alive.  I believe I'll find a place I can really call home someday, hopefully sooner than later.

There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete. Comments would be great to see so we know if something needs to be fixed or if it's a good story.
