I have been seen to war with no other choice. I tried to stay but the government wouldn't see fit. It is the day I leave... and I have to say goodbye to my family.

Eden Martinez. Much more than your ordinary eighteen year old girl. At the end of her sophomore year she dropped out of college to join the army, and it was the best decision of her life. After an accident in Afghanistan, leaving her with mental and physical injuries she's been put on medical leave for a year.
