Rune Factory 4: Runic Melodies

What if you could be granted the wish of a lifetime..?

Lest, a boy who lost his memories after falling from the sky, finds himself serving the role of prince to the native dragon Ventuswill in the town of Selphia. But he's not alone; his childhood best friend Frey has stayed by his side, through it all, and suffers a similar fate as him. All is well in their new life, until one day a mysterious force causes Ventuswill to fall ill, and Lest finds himself wielding a new power that he hadn't had before; A power dubbed 'wishful melody'. The power that only earthmates like him may hold, which allows its host to grant any wish at the price of something important to them. It is unknown what will be lost, but the greater the wish, the greater the punishment. Ventuswill is dying, and it's up to Lest to rid of this unknown source and save her but...at what cost?

this fanfiction will most definitely stray from the main story of the game, but will be heavily based on my own personal playthrough of Rune Factory 4. Feel free to read if you haven't played rune factory though, you won't need to know much to understand the story! This will be in Lest's point of view, but if the story calls for it, then it will be in Frey's point of view at points as well.
