With shaking legs, she bowed, before carefully making her way over to the piano, settling down on the bench, adjusting it to make sure she wasn't too close to the piano. She could feel her heart hammering in her chest, blood rushing through her ears. Her hands were freezing, and yet she could feel the sweat accumulating on her palms. She gulped, wiping her hands on her dress in an attempt to wipe the sweat off, but to no avail. She took in a shaky, breath, and began to play.

Life isn't easy for anxiety-ridden teenage virtuoso Melody Parisi. Being one of the top performing pianists of her age and having crippling anxiety were two things that did not mix very well together. Juggling not only her competitions, but also her schoolwork, performances, and her parents, how ever will she survive?
