Emotions brew inside of us, and sometimes they get too overwhelming for us to carry within us in their entirety. To get the excess out, we cut apart these emotions, and then put them out for the world, in ways that these fragments of the emotions are shared with people around you.

You see, people spill these fragments in different ways. Some of us like to run to put this excess out; others write songs and come up with melodies; others put a fragment of what they are feeling into every brush stroke they make against a white canvas, covering it with a visual representation of it.

And some others are like me, and when we are overwhelmed with the brewing happening within us, the emotions come out through words.

In the case of this book, through what I like to think are poems.

Reading this, you are reading up bottled up emotions of mine that ended up spilt through words. Sometimes the fragments of me in between the lines are small, others it is basically every single thing I am feeling... as if the words are me inside out.

Reason to why I named this book what I named.

Writing these make me feel better sometimes, and sharing really helps me as well I don't know why. I really hope you that is reading this enjoys this book!

With love,

We all have untold stories and unresolved struggles. Life puts us through many hardships, and while we learn a lot from them, there are times when we feel like giving up. Sometimes, we become so numb that we can't even process what's happening because things go beyond what we expect. We carry emotions that are hard to explain to others, and sometimes, even to ourselves. But we need to stand up for ourselves. We have to make things better. We can't let negative overthinking make things worse. Please, don't ruin yourself-there are enough people out there who might try to bring you down. Focus on yourself. The journey of improving yourself is tough and tiring, but it's worth it. I write to inspire people to think in new and different ways. My goal is to help you focus on positive thoughts while accepting reality, even when it's difficult. I don't want anyone to suppress their emotions, but instead to face life's challenges with understanding. Life can be overwhelming, and the impact of events and people isn't easy to overcome, but we find a way to move forward. Through my words, I hope to help you see things from a new perspective. Don't let negative overthinking weigh you down-it can be destructive. It's not easy to control those thoughts, but trying is a step forward. Each day is a new beginning, just like you, so don't let your negative side take over. I hope my writing brings some comfort, holds meaning for you, and makes your journey feel a little lighter. I hope my words help you, even a little. I hope they encourage you to think more clearly and wisely. And if you feel that my words have the power to improve someone's situation, even a little, please share them. Recommend this book to others or tag them in the comments. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for your kind words. They inspire me to keep writing and sharing.

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. Perhaps under this layer of melancholy, the girl I once knew still exists.    First poetry collection in the series. Original poems based off real life experiences. #12 in poetry.
