Mike Finnigan was just a 17 year old boy  when he discovered that he wasn't quite like everybody else. Although he was always a good kid, good grades and stayed out of trouble, there was always something off and different about Mike-- everyone who met him would instantly feel a difference in his presence. 
He had moved to a small town just down Washington, famous for it's historic Maverick Mountain. This Mountain was no ordinary mountain-- locals have heard rumors of people going up the main trail and never returning and gone missing never to be heard of again. Nobody has footed that trail in over 65 years. 
That is until one day Mike decides to take a look and see what lies up ahead the mountain... what he discovers is not what to be expected.

I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? Will he fall short? Or will he fall into the arms of a guy who is in love with the girl he loves? _______________________________________ WARNING: First book EVER!
