Is it fate or coincidence? They say you should never trust people on the internet but as for me, it is where I found someone I never expected that I would meet.

Before you ask, I didn't see it coming; I didn't see him coming. He just kind of, well, appeared one day out of nowhere. I can't say it's bad that he did, nor can I say it's good. He became infatuated with me, and to be honest, I loved it. He changed my world, sometimes for the better, but sometimes for the worst. Now, I cam say with confidence that he changed me as a person. I've become more aware, and love all of the small things in life. Why? Because I know that once you have something, it isn't always yours.

There is a war raging within me, a constant battle between what I know and what I feel. My priorities became a blur after you happened, and absence never felt so real.

Joy was my first love. Hardly had we met than she went abroad for studies. Trying to fix things into place with the long distance relationship. Life messes me up with complicated encounters.

I wanted to talk to her. I wanted to ask her if she was broken. I wanted to hear her voice. I wanted to know her name. My friend didn't dare say it for even the thought of her old life made her cry. I wanted her to know I was there, but sadly, that won't happen for a long time, or at least until she dies.

She forgot how to love but remembered how to fight. He disregarded where I've been and made who I am.
