She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. 36 parts Complete

Inside of school she's a shy, weak, innocent nobody. Outside of school she's a queen. When she's not at school, say one wrong thing to her, she'll rip your head off. She's a gang leader of the gang Vipers. The Vipers are the deadliest gang in the city. Her father, the previous owner of the Vipers, passed it down to her. With her being in constant danger, he says she needs to control her temper and lie low so she doesn't get caught, again. What happens when the "bad boy" in her new school catches her fighting and sees who she really is? Remember, innocence is just her disguise. {Ok, so this is my first book I've ever wrote, and it's really not that great, my style has gotten much better since I published this, so my other more recent stories are more... realistic, in my opinion. But I'm just warning you. It's kind of cliché unfortunately. So if you decide to read this, you have been warned. If you don't want to read this, that's okay too, just carry on.} <Slowly Editing>
