After learning of her origins, Annora is left torn between her parents: her father, the man who is known as a true paragon of evil and hasn't been around her whole life or her adoptive mother, the woman known as a true paragon of good and has looked after her her entire life. Suddenly, she's caught up in an accident that leaves her on the brink of death and she is left with magic powers that she wasn't prepared for. Now she has to pick a side whether she likes it or not.
