The day came...
The day that my happy side got ripped out of my reach.
My best friend
My daddy
My happiness
Left me empty handed.
I remember the exact moment when I was crying at his bed side.
He was incoherent so I knew now was the time to let it out.
He opened his eyes and told me
"Don't cry, it will all be okay. I love you"
That was the last time he opened his eyes or talked again.
The moment his soul left it stole my happiness with it.
Day by day I try to find it.
I look so damn hard.
Maybe he gave it to the one I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with?

I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking.
