Edith Owens has always believed in aliens. In her mind, the universe is so vast, there's no possible way we are alone. But she didn't think that one of them would show up at her door. He calls himself The Doctor. He's from a planet on the other side of the universe, one very different from our own. He came in a police box from the seventies that he calls the Tardis. He said it was a ship, capable of traveling through time and space. When she stepped inside, her entire life changed. She wasn't a normal teenager anymore, she was a time traveler. And that's how she became the Doctor's daughter.

The Doctor stops off at the end of the universe, but is more than a little surprised to find that he isn't the only Doctor with this idea, and that he and all his other selves are soon trapped there by an unknown entity. (This story does have a plot, but it's basically an excuse for all of the Doctors to argue with each other, and who doesn't want that?)
