Malia and her best friend, Steve, have lived in a small safe village and have never ventured very far. They were always taught by their parents - who are now sadly dead - to never stray far from their home, for it is horribly dangerous.
But when Malia's pet dog, Rascal, runs away, Malia sets out on a mission to find him with the help of Steve.
But soon the two find themselves lost and they stumble upon a ghost town which sets them out on a different mission - a mission to make it back home alive.
