However, the Outsiders don't trust Kiara to be the leader they need and still look to Kovu and Vitani to guidance... not that that's a bad thing, but Kiara will one day be their queen, and, as such, must earn their repect, approval and acceptance. 
As Kovu trains his rebel princess, he worries about her well-being. She is inexperienced and hiding something from him that has been troubling her greatly. He wants to help her, but will doing so open up old wounds and new ones?

Kion visited the Pridelands sometimes, hoping his father, and family had changed, but they never did. Simba noticed Kion leaving and coming back almost every day, and followed him. When Kion was caught, Simba was furious. He told Kion he had to choose. Kion was put into a situation where he had to decide from respect, love, and affection, or his family. Kion had one week to decide, but in one week, there can be many changes, and in that week, Kion found love...but was it what he wanted? When Simba told Kion to decide, Kion was in fury.
