She meets a snarky owl named Chicken Bones who informs her the reason she's in this purgatory is because she perished in the deepest part of the woods. Maggie must find out why she's trapped in purgatory and who really Chicken Bones is before she shares the same fate as all the lost souls trapped in this snowy hell.
